On October 30, 2023, Patrick Surtain II hosted his first Game Plan Pitch Day for local high schools to compete to win Patrick’s first Inspiration Room (S.T.E.A.M. room) to be installed at their school during Summer 2024.

Patrick and his panel of judges, who are local subject matter experts in industries like technology, fashion, engineering, retail, design, media, and sports, listened to each of the school’s pitches to decide which school was most in need and would benefit the most from Pat’s first Inspiration Room. 

Pat’s Inspiration Rooms will be innovative spaces designed to nurture Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) education. The rooms will include vibrant Pat Surtain II Foundation-themed wall graphics, interactive workspaces, cutting-edge technology like 3D printers, a music recording studio, multimedia resources, and customized learning elements tailored to the winning school’s specific needs.
